About Rebecca

I am a Brown University student looking to help you and your children! I have three years of experience tutoring in Biology, Physics, and Organizational tutoring for a private high school in NYC. Regardless, I am very flexible and am ready to help with whatever assistance your child may need.

I am passionate about learning and have always been an avid student. I have a 4.0 GPA at Brown, recieved a 35 on the ACT, and a 3.95/4.26 GPA at Horace Mann High School.

I am also a previous Metropolitan Museum of Art Family Education Intern. I have worked as a babysitter and au pair for multiple years and definitely have a handle on how children learn and behave.

I have also been the editor-in-chief of the Horace Mann film magazine Cinemann, Opinions editor of the Horace Mann Record, and am a current contributing writer to the music publication WBRU.

I really love working with kinds. I find that they think about information in entirely new and creative ways that brighten my view of the world. I also really enjoy helping children learn how to learn and enjoy it, because it is an important skill that many individuals often do not learn.

About the lesson

I will first do an initial meeting with the student and assess their strengths and weaknesses. Then I will use that information to create a lesson plan to help them learn what they have asked me to teach them.
