About Julia
I am an elementary school teacher with my dual master's degree in Childhood Special Educatios Grades 1-6. I believe that Elementary School is a cruicial time in a child's life, where they not only begin to discover who they are, but tend to need guidance and support by empathetic individiuals. That's where I come in! I specialize in tutoring in all elementary school subjects, incuding reading comprehension, enrichment, study skills, and organizational skills. Let me help your child gain the confidence that they need in order to succeed!
I have my dual master's degree in Childhood Special Education Grades 1-6. I am a New York State Certified Elementary School Teacher. I spent one full year student teaching in both General Elementary and Special Education before I began teaching

I like to get to know my students by first learning their strengths and weaknesses. Once I learn their strengths, I then work with the student to build on their strengths.
I have worked with all students ranging from Gifted/ Talented to students who have been diagnosed with moderate to severe learing disabilities

Students need an individual that they feel confident expressing their concerns to! I am an empathetic listener who looks at the whole playing field and tries my best to work with students to best help them to succeed
