About Ev
I'm skilled and knowledgeable in writing, reading comprehension and editing. As a professional journalist with a master's in journalism, I can help you clarify and correct your writing so can achieve your goals, whether that's acceptance to college or an A on an key assignment.
I have received awards in journalism and scored in the 95th percentile on the verbal (reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar) section of the GRE. During my master's program at a top public university, I received a 4.0 GPA and was admitted to an honor society that only invites the top 10% of students. I also was a teaching assistant for the two years of the program and worked with students throughout that time.
In high school, I would frequently procrastinate working on essays and reading assignments because I found them challenging. That ended after I had a teacher that completely changed my outlook. She was an engaging teacher and had such insightful critiques that writing actually became a passion of mine and I ended up majoring in journalism in college. I hope to be that person for students I work with, or at least help them reach a place where they are able to turn in something they are proud to submit :)
