About Ria
Hello, my name is Ria. I am currently in Year 12 and I study A-Level English Literature, A-Level Psychology and A-level Religious Studies. I have always enjoyed writing essays, as I feel as though all my words flow beautifully on paper. Creative writing has always been my strong point, ever since I was young. It is just using your imagination which can be very interesting as you never know what you are going to come up with. That is the beauty of writing. You start writing and you never know where it is going to lead to. I want to inspire my students to have this same interest in writing.

My lessons are usually 1 hour but if you believe your student needs more practice and more time with me, I am more than happy to teach for longer hours. I believe when it comes to teaching it is very important to raise the student’s confidence and make them believe in themselves. There are no wrong answers or ideas. Typically, when teaching a student it is best to start slow and work at a pace that they are comfortable with. If a student has a problem or is not understanding their work, I think it is vital that we solve the problem straight away and patch any gaps in their knowledge so that it does not cause any problems in the future.
I want the best for all my students and I believe I can get them to their potential.
