Background & Expertise
-> Postgraduate Master’s student
-> Strong background in research, analysis, and academic writing
-> Experience working with families, young people, and education-focused organisations
-> Currently conducting a qualitative research project with parents on learning, development, and life skills
-> Professional experience in evaluation, analysis, and evidence-based work

This means I bring:
-> analytical depth
-> clarity of explanation
-> structured thinking
-> and a strong understanding of how people actually learn
— not just subject knowledge.
-> Adaptive learning styles to respond to your needs.

Parents choose me because I am:
-> Calm and patient
-> Clear and structured
-> Encouraging rather than pressuring
-> Focused on confidence and independence
-> Able to explain things simply

About the lesson

I’m a postgraduate researcher, currently working as a government monitoring and evaluation officer, and an education professional specialising in academic writing, study skills, and decision-making about education and careers.

I work with older teens, university students, and adults who want to think clearly, communicate confidently, and make well-grounded choices — not just “get through” assignments.

My sessions are structured, calm, and research-informed, making them especially effective for motivated learners who want depth, clarity, and long-term improvement.

About My Approach

My work focuses on helping learners:
-> organise their thinking
-> understand why strong answers work
-> write with clarity and confidence
-> develop independent study strategies
-> make thoughtful decisions about education, work, and next steps

This approach is particularly valuable for students who feel capable but mentally stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to progress.

Because of this depth-focused approach, my sessions tend to produce lasting improvements, not just short-term fixes.

Who I Work With

I typically work with:
-> older secondary students (14–18)
-> university students
-> early-career adults
-> learners returning to education
-> people navigating academic or career transitions
-> French-speaking students

Some of my students are:
-> bright but under-confident
-> overthinking
-> unsure how to structure ideas
-> capable but not performing at their best

What I Support
I offer online support in:

-> Academic writing & essay structure
-> Study skills & independent learning strategies
-> Critical thinking & argument development
-> Research skills
-> University-level support
-> Career and education decision-making

Session Style & Practicalities
-> 60-minute online sessions
-> Structured but supportive
-> Learner-led (I usually ask the day before what you want to focus on)
-> Calm, focused environment
-> Clear boundaries
-> Suited to learners who value depth and clarity

My rate reflects:
-> postgraduate-level expertise
-> research-informed methods
-> personalised, high-attention support
-> and a focus on long-term capability building
