About Joanna

German classrooms provided the foundation for my 13 years of teaching practice. Transitioning to full-time US-based tutoring allowed me to sharpen my focus on accent reduction and Standard American English. Helping professionals master business English and refined communication remains my primary objective.

I work daily with executives aiming for clarity. My students often prepare for major university admissions or professional certifications. These individuals require precise feedback on their spoken fluency and essay composition.

You will find that my approach centers on a weekly reading list matched precisely to your current proficiency level. This ensures that you engage with material that is both accessible and challenging.

My 13 years of experience in the field allow me to identify exactly where your pronunciation or grammar patterns need adjustment. We address these areas through consistent practice.

Writing reports and drafting emails becomes much easier when you have a clear understanding of structure. Literature analysis provides the framework for our deep work together.

Preparation for high stakes interviews is another vital component of our time. You can expect detailed proofreading and editing for all your written submissions. My background in TESOL from Hunter College shapes the way I design these sessions. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence through clear speech.
