About Unaloto
Mālō e lelei — I’m a proud Tongan creative and a graduate of MIT with a background in drama, acting, and storytelling. I’ve worked across theater, short film, and screen, and I’m passionate about the power of performance to transform lives — whether it’s on stage, in front of the camera, or simply in building confidence off-stage. I didn’t grow up seeing people like me on TV or in theater — and that’s part of why I do this. Acting gave me a voice, a sense of identity, and a place to express myself. Now, I want to help others experience the same. I started teaching because I know how powerful it is to have someone believe in your potential — especially in creative spaces where self-doubt can be loud. Whether you’re just beginning or already chasing your acting goals, I bring patience, cultural understanding, and a personal approach that makes you feel seen and supported. I love working with people from all walks of life — especially Māori and Pasifika youth, aspiring performers, and anyone with a story to tell. My goal is to create a space where you can grow not just as an actor, but as a person.

My lessons are more than just scripts and monologues — they’re a journey into self-expression, storytelling, and confidence. As a graduate of MIT with a background in drama, I bring both professional training and lived experience to help you unlock your unique voice as a performer.
Whether you dream of being on TV, in film, or on stage, I tailor each session to your goals and strengths. You’ll learn acting techniques, character development, vocal delivery, movement, audition prep, and how to connect emotionally with your audience — all at your pace, in a safe and encouraging space.
I understand that every student is different. Some want to break into the industry, some want to build confidence, and others just want to creatively express themselves. Whatever your reason — I meet you where you’re at, and help you grow from there.
