About Wau
As mentioned earlier, I am an Actuarial Sciences student, so being really passionate and professional in all that I do comes with the territory. I've just finished my first year at the University of Cape Town, and in my time in high school, I was top learner in my school, and a regular in the top 30 in the district too. I have held leadership positions at my school (Headboy, Prefect, Debate and Volleyball team captains), so you can expect serious commitment to my work, and an overall genuine interest in sharing the amazing knowledge my teachers imprinted onto me. I intend to help you grow in your understanding of the language. Theory, and knowing convention is great, but I believe the way I managed to grasp the language so well It's not just about a strict by the book education, because that's not how languages work; it has to be organic, and I will make that a reliable staple in each lesson. I am willing to accommodate all proficiencies of English-speaking too, as I am well versed with English as a first and home language, the highest proficiency in the NSC high school qualification. I will aim to help you understand grammar conventions, paraphrasing in an interesting and engaging manner as well as working on your vocabulary - these are just a few of the skills that will improve your confidence as an English speaker
