About Georgia-Rae

I am a recent University of Alberta graduate! I am going to law school next year. It took me a while to learn how to study, but when I did, I got straight A's for FOUR straight semesters! I want to help others do the same.

Outside of academia, I trade stocks and currencies in the financial markets.

About the lesson

Hi! I have recently graduated from the University of Alberta with first-class honours and a 3.9 GPA. I am attending Law School next year so in the meantime, I am offering tutoring and editing services. I am passionate about teaching others and adapting to their unique learning styles.

High school courses I tutor:
- English 10, 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, 30-1, 30-2, 30-3
- Social Studies 10, 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, 30-1, 30-2, 30-3
- Aboriginal studies 20, 30
- Biology 20, Biology 30

University-level courses:
- Any and all sociology courses, SOC 100, SOC 212, SOC 210, SOC 315, SOC 429, SOC 335. Message me about other courses.

I can proofread and edit any papers for any class. I have routinely received A+ papers throughout my degree and can send you sample papers. I can help you write and edit your paper, but please know that I will absolutely not write your paper for you.

I am also able to review things like personal statements. I reviewed a personal statement that recently got a friend of mine into law school at Duke, Georgetown, ASU, UCLA, etc. I also have edited high-stakes papers that are for fieldwork courses and made up 40% of the overall grade for 5 credit courses. One of the papers I thoroughly edited was 17 pages and the student received an A+ in the course and a 90%+ on the paper.

I can send you my transcripts and samples of my work. I charge $20 an hour. I am very patient as I have a special needs sister I have worked with lots, so if you are feeling defeated with school or English is not your first language, please do not hesitate to reach out.
