About Albertsj

My name is Jessica Alberts, and I’m from South Africa. I’m a caring, patient, and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and helping them learn in fun, creative ways. I’m especially passionate about teaching Afrikaans, my home language, through games, songs, and everyday conversations that make learning natural and enjoyable. I believe every child learns best in a positive, supportive environment, and I always try to create that through kindness, encouragement, and understanding. As an au pair, I hope to share my culture, make meaningful connections, and help children grow with confidence while learning something new every day.

About the lesson

I have a deep passion for working with children and helping them learn in creative, engaging ways. As a native Afrikaans speaker, I enjoy teaching the language through fun activities, everyday conversations, songs, and stories that make learning natural and enjoyable. I believe language is more than words—it’s a way to connect with culture, express feelings, and build confidence. My goal as an au pair is to create a warm, caring environment where children feel supported, curious, and excited to learn Afrikaans while developing important life and communication skills.
