About Lauren
My goal is to create a lifelong love for reading. It begins with the foundational skills for young readers. I want to help build confidence and strong fluent readers for life. Seeing progress and growth in students is my reason why. I love the lightbulb moments when it all starts to come together and make sense.

I use a multisensory approach to teach reading foundational skills along with the science of reading research-based strategies. Literacy is my passion and I love teaching students to read and build confidence and fluency.
I use the LETRS template to create explicit systematic phonics lesson plans. These lessons are focused on building foundational skills in K-2.
