About Kalle
I am student at UCL with a passion for languages, especially ancient languages. I am currently taking Latin, Biblical Hebrew and Akkadian at university and enjoying them greatly. I have studied Latin for a very long time and have always enjoyed it and as the concepts have gotten more advanced and I have been able to engage more with Roman literature, I have enjoyed it ever more.

I have been tutoring for five years and I predominantly have taught GCSE and pre GCSE students and helped them engage with difficult material that they are covering in class, but have also taught Latin to similar ages groups.
I believe in a calm and focused atmosphere when teaching, some deviation is inevitable as long as you are always able to get back on track, then it is usually helpful to keep the student on track with their work. A typical lesson with me would be 30 minutes to an hour depending on the difficulty of the topic at hand. For example, a language class may be 30 minutes, but a literature class would be longer. This is however entirely individual as some students require more time to grasp concepts and so longer lessons are necessary and conversely, the opposite may be true.
