About Patrick
I'm a reliable, organised and friendly tutor with a First-Class degree in History and German, and a real passion for helping students succeed. I achieved A* grades in both English and History at GCSE and A Level, and have won awards for essay writing at school and university. I regularly enter national essay competitions, most recently winning one in October 2024. My year teaching English in Germany with the British Council was a turning point—it made me realise how much I enjoy inspiring confidence and curiosity in learners. I’m especially passionate about making learning enjoyable and meaningful, and I want to spend my post-graduation years helping others discover the same excitement for these subjects.
