About Serenity
I’m a fifth-generation Humboldt County citizen and first-generation college graduate pursuing postgraduate studies in English. I’m passionate about education and helping people. As a CRLA certified tutor and Lead Writing Consultant, I care a lot about making clear and effective writing instruction accessible to a wide diversity of writers and learners.

I’m passionate about helping others, and love applying Writing Studies theory and pedagogy in tutoring contexts. Let’s talk about your writing in a low pressure space! I’ve worked with writers from every discipline (including physics and Engineering), but my Humanities and Communication background makes me a particularly thoughtful reader for your work. Getting a second pair of eyes on your writing is always a good idea, and no matter what, you’ll walk away from our sessions with helpful tips that make your writing life feel easier!
