About Abbie
I am a 22 year old recently qualified English teacher. I have one semester left of completing the honours side of my concurrent degree in English and Professional Education. I have completed all 20 weeks worth of GTCS approved placements teaching classes of up to 33 pupils ranging from P7-S5. Have had special experience working with pupils with additional support needs as well.

My teaching method is based on a pupil centred approach. I want the pupil to come to a point where they are able to fully understand using a means they are familiar with. In the past I have created “Miss Jolly essay tips” sheets etc. and created visual prompts because I know all learners respond differently. I have been praised for my awareness of individual needs and have been known to go above and beyond to deliver the curriculum in way that is accessible to all learners.
