About Nakate

My name is Nakate Maria. I am a Ugandan 23-year-old young lady, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in medicine and Surgery, very outgoing, kind and optimistic. I would love for all my future students to trust me with the ability to help them understand and explore the English language best believing that it will be a beautiful and enriching journey. You might all be wondering why a medical student is applying to be your "English tutor", and well the answers are two. First, passion gained through a lot of experience in school and exploring literature as a whole. Secondly, it's a very beautiful thing to be outgoing and excellent in more than one aspect of life, it makes you open to several opportunities hence my being here, to share that experience with you.

About the lesson

Aims; To be able to appreciate the English language in all aspects. Exploring how to make good grammatical expressions, phrases and statements. Learn how to punctuate words, write essays and appreciate literature. Creating a safe and comfortable learning environment, free from pressure or judgement, as we learn from each other while enjoying the process.
