About Zhara
Growing up as a SODA, with ASL as my first language has allowed me to experience so many different things with a strong connection to the Deaf Community and the language of American Sign Language as a whole. Maintaining that language focus as I prepare to graduate as an ASL Interpreter is something that brings me a lot of joy.
My hope is to encourage a similar love of the language with any students who choose me as their tutor.

Most lessons will start with a review of previous material as well as an introduction of new material. Sentences, Phrases, and various skill-building activities( games, flashcards etc) will help to solidify the basics while also strengthening new ASL skills. Lessons are tailored to your skill set and can be adjusted for Elementary to High school students.
