About Siena
I am a freshman at NYU, currently majoring in sports management with plans to transition into real estate and eventually attend law school. I also play on the NYU softball team and coach for Athletes to Athletes, where I work with younger athletes to develop their skills and confidence. My coaching experience has given me a strong understanding of how to teach, communicate, and adapt my approach to different learning styles, which translates seamlessly into my tutoring. I have a 4.0 GPA and have always excelled academically, developing effective study strategies that I now share with my students. My passion for learning extends beyond the classroom, I enjoy helping others build confidence in their reading, writing, and test-taking skills. As a tutor, I bring a patient, encouraging approach that focuses on personalized learning techniques. Whether it’s mastering grammar, refining writing skills, or preparing for exams, I use modern study tools, like AI-assisted learning, study decks, and creative methods like podcasts and videos, to make lessons engaging and effective. I understand what it takes to succeed in school and on standardized tests, and I am excited to help students develop their skills, improve their confidence, and achieve their academic goals!

I focus on building confidence in reading, writing, and test-taking strategies through guided practice and interactive discussions.
For grammar and writing, I use real-world examples and structured exercises to reinforce concepts.
I emphasize critical thinking and creativity, helping students not just memorize rules but truly understand how to apply them.

AI-assisted study tools to enhance learning and review.
Creating podcasts or videos to reinforce concepts in an interactive way.
Building custom study decks to improve memorization and recall.
Personalized strategies for active learning rather than passive memorization.
