I teach in a structured literacy manner ensuring that the students I work with are being explicitly taught the skill and have ample time to practice in different modalities. I have experience with teaching phonemic awareness all the way up to essay writing. I am a certified educator who loves their craft and aims to make my sessions a safe space where students feel comfortable taking intellectual risks. I aim to support students from pre-K through high school in all of their literacy and ELA based needs!
