About Jack
I’m a professional actor and acting coach currently performing in Stranger Things: The First Shadow on London’s West End. My career has taken me from the Sydney Opera House to the Gielgud Theatre, and now to the Phoenix Theatre with Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions. Alongside my stage work, I’ve appeared on screen in Reef Break (ABC Studios International), and numerous independent projects in Australia and the UK. I trained extensively in classical and contemporary theatre and spent 6 years performing, teaching, and facilitating with Bell Shakespeare — including playing Laertes in their acclaimed production of Hamlet. I’ve worked with some of the industry’s best, including directors like Steven Daldry and Peter Evans, and actors like Hugo Weaving and Matthew Modine. As a coach, I’ve helped hundreds of actors develop their voice, physicality, text work, and confidence—through private sessions and my ongoing work with StageMilk over the last 6 years. I work regularly with drama school applicants, recent grads, and professionals prepping roles, tapes, and auditions. I believe in focused, supportive, actor-led coaching that gets results. My sessions are actor-centred, practical, and always tailored to you. Whether you're preparing for drama school, a professional audition, or simply want to sharpen your skills, we'll work on unlocking your instincts, making confident choices, and building techniques that support truthful performance. I draw on over a decade of professional acting experience — from the West End (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, To Kill a Mockingbird) to Shakespeare and screenwork. I’ve spent 6+ years coaching actors at all levels, helping them build confidence, clarity, and presence. We'll explore voice, physicality, text work, audition prep, Shakespeare, accents — whatever best supports your goals. I aim to fast-track your growth while keeping the work grounded, supportive, and fun.
