About Imene
My name is Imene Menad, and I am a stage director, actress, and architect based in London. I trained in Paris at Le Centre du Marais, working across Lecoq, Stanislavsky, and Meisner techniques, and my work spans across Paris, London, and Algiers. I lead Bahatha Theatre, founded in 2019, a platform for exploring identity through immersive performance and physical storytelling. In 2023, I starred in Noises, which received First Prize at the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival. In 2024, I produced and directed Le Mirage at Chelsea Theatre as part of DZ Fest, the UK's first Algerian festival. My passion for acting is deeply rooted in storytelling and connection — I help my students bring their full selves to the stage, with honesty, movement, and voice. My workshops are open, exploratory spaces that empower actors and non-actors alike. Whether you're preparing for a role, building stage confidence, or exploring new creative territory, I bring both structure and sensitivity to help you grow.

Whether you're preparing for a role, building confidence, or discovering the power of performance for the first time, I create a supportive and inspiring environment where your creativity can thrive. Each session is tailored to the student’s needs — we can work on monologue preparation, scene study, movement, improvisation, character development, or emotional accessibility. I encourage honest expression and physical awareness, helping you connect more deeply with your craft.
