Hello! My name is Olivia, and I’m a committed and enthusiastic tutor who brings both academic excellence and real-world experience to every session. With over 30 hours of hands-on tutoring experience and a strong record of achievement—including a Dean’s Scholarship, recognition on the Head’s List with a 4.14 GPA, and acceptance into the prestigious Georgetown Pre-Medical Summer Intensive—I understand what it takes to succeed and how to help others get there too. As a tutor with over 30 hours of experience and a passion for service and education, I specialize in helping K–6th-grade students build confidence and mastery in math, science, reading, and history. I follow a structured, interactive teaching method called “I do, we do, you do”—where I first demonstrate the concept, then we work through it together, and finally the student practices it independently. We wrap up with fun, educational review games to reinforce learning in a positive and engaging way. A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up to assess understanding, followed by a targeted lesson aligned with the student's needs or homework. My goal is always to make sure the student walks away feeling accomplished and supported. My rate is $15 per hour, and I'm committed to creating a kind, motivating, and effective learning environment for each child I work with.
