About Michael

A highly regarded professor in postgraduate studies at a major university, a Creative Director in the advertising industry, and an accomplished screenwriter and author, my passion is helping students achieve success with a combination of patience and affirmative techniques. You can do this. I’ll help you not only believe you can but help you actually master the craft.

About the lesson

Nabokov wrote that genius is finding the invisible thread between things. The same is true for writing. As a practicing writer and educator, I know how to to train and inspire students at all levels -- from 7th and 8th grade through high school, college and post grad -- to “thread the needle” and gain confidence, skill and drive to not just reach but exceed their full potential as writers.

Classes are personalized to the individual student, focusing on the specific areas you want to concentrate on. My goal is not simply to teach but also to motivate, develop mastery, and provide a skill set that students can draw upon now and in the future.
