About Makaila-Maye
2025 is my graduating year. After that, I plan to study at Auckland University and earn my Bachelor of Arts in English. Then I'll be doing my year of teaching courses and placements to officially become an English teacher!
I grew up moving around a lot, so if I can become your tutor and be a constant through your education in English it would mean a lot to me.
I was incredibly ecstatic ( That's alliteration right there) to have won the 2024 Tessa McMillan Memorial Award in creative writing!

Hello! I’m Makaila, a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong background in English and Art. As a fresh graduate student finishing high school in Waiuku college, I understand the challenges you’re facing and how to tackle them effectively.
