About Victor

I am a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in performance, education, and international collaboration. Although my academic training is in music, my experience has equipped me with excellent communication, listening, and teaching skills that translate effectively into English instruction.

My journey as a musician has taken me across different countries, including South Africa and the United States, where I engaged in diverse musical and cultural exchanges. These experiences have strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with people from different backgrounds, an essential skill for teaching English learners. As an educator, I specialise in simplifying complex concepts. Through teaching music theory and instrumental practice (clarinet, oboe, recorder, and classical saxophone), I have developed a patient and structured teaching style that helps students learn step by step with confidence. Because of my background in music, I pay special attention to pronunciation, rhythm, and clarity of speech. I help students hear and produce sounds more accurately, making their English sound more natural. I also break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, so learners never feel overwhelmed. In my classes, you can expect:
