About Kimona
Education is the foundation on which the world was built. It fills me with pride to know that I am part of a field
with such a rich contribution to humankind. Although educators may not always get the recognition or thanks they
deserve, the wonderment on a learner’s face when they learn something for the first time is all the motivation I
need. Not many people can say that their job is their passion, but working with young enthusiastic minds is what I
feel I was born to do. My ability to understand the unique needs of individual learners will stand me in good stead
to be successful. I don’t think that school is a preparation for life. School is life. In the same way, I don’t view
teaching as a job, I view it as a calling.
