About Abbie
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in English and Education, a Professional Educator's License from the US Department of Education, a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification, a certificate in Teaching Online, 5 years of teaching Experience in the US and Vietnam. I love to teach and to help my students learn in the best way possible. Teaching is my passion and I hope I can help you with whatever you need!

I love to create student-centered lessons that are personalized to my students and keep them engaged and excited to learn! A typical lesson with me will look like introduction to the concepts of the lesson, checking to see what the student already knows on the topic, playing some game to better learn the material, and reviewing the new information at the end to check for understanding. My lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their reading and writing skills, improve their English (if you are an English Language Learner), need help with essay writing or understanding difficult literature, as well as anyone who has a specific skill in English that they would like to improve such as writing an argumentative essay, improving your spelling, understanding Shakespeare, etc.
