About Victoria
Greetings!
I dedicate my time to helping students who need help completing reading and writing assignments. Doing so is important to me because I strive to eliminate the feelings of hopelessness and confusion one may feel when working on a subject that is difficult for an individual. Seeing a student's positive reaction to understanding and completing an assignment is the highlight of my work! I recently graduated with a bachelor's of English from Arizona State University with a 4.0. During my studies, I have taken relevant courses such as Persuasive Writing, Travel Writing, and Writing for Professions. I was also a writing mentor intern for Pen Project, a program in the New Mexico Corrections Department for inmates to improve their writing skills. I currently volunteer as a tutor and academic coach for UPchieve and as a proofreader for Distributed Proofreaders. All of my related experiences have strengthened my mentoring, writing, analytical, and communication skills. I am meticulous with analyzing detail, crafting written work, and providing constructive feedback to others. My previous retail, restaurant, and hair work has also enhanced my communication and interpersonal skills.
