About Ashley
Hello! I’m a Bachelor of Science graduate and passionate English teacher dedicated to helping students of all levels become confident and fluent in English. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in Arizona. For a period of 18 months, I’ve taught both online and in-person, leading English classes across 22 cities and helping learners strengthen their communication skills in engaging and practical ways. My lessons are interactive, structured, and designed to make learning enjoyable. Every lesson ends with a quick recap and a short homework task to reinforce what we’ve learned. I am excited to teach at any level and love working with English-as-a-second-language learners! I adapt my approach to suit each learner’s level and goals. My goal is to help every student feel comfortable using English in real-life situations and proud of their progress. My teaching method focuses on making English engaging, interactive, and confidence-building. I combine structured grammar lessons with practical conversation exercises and fun activities, such as songs and Q&A games, to help students absorb language naturally. I aim to create a supportive environment where every student feels comfortable expressing themselves in English.
A typical lesson begins with introductions in English to build comfort and familiarity starting with a few “Questions of the Day” to encourage conversation and critical thinking. Next, we review a catchy English song to practice listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary—often focusing on topics like the days of the week or daily routines. Afterward, we dive into grammar and sentence structure through examples and short exercises. The lesson concludes with a quick review and recap of key points, and I assign a short homework activity to reinforce what we covered.
I’ve taught English for over 18 months and have experience leading both online and in-person classes across 22 cities. I started and managed an English learning program that helped students improve communication skills and build confidence in real-life settings. My approach blends structure with creativity, ensuring each student stays motivated and sees steady progress.
My English classes are designed for elementary and middle school students as well as people learning English as a second language. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level—whether they’re just beginning to learn English, developing grammar foundations, or refining their conversational and academic writing skills.
