About Landon
As someone who struggled academically in other subject areas I understand the value of a good tutor, however, I also know the damage a tutor can do if they are not the right fit for the student. Often times, the tutor knows the subject so well, they have a difficult time breaking down even the simplest concepts for their students because they think they should just “get” it. Making no assumptions about students until I can see what level they are at and then tailoring my approach to them is a strategy I’ve found that removes the issue of assumption from the tutor-student relationship.

Relaxed lessons on your level, on your time. I meet my students where they are at, and don’t spend time backtracking on concepts or skills they have already proven. Once I know where you stand we can focus on targeting problem areas that require more attention and then come back to areas that you may just need a refresher in.
