About David
I worked with dozens of students for three years during college and I took a special interest in each one of them. These subjects are fun, they should not be made a chore. We get the word “story” from the word “history” (or more specifically from Greek ἱστορία) and it should be treated that way. Language is the tool to convey these and the more you understand the language, the more you’ll enjoy the stories.

Ancient history has a somewhat tainted track record of elitist educators making the process of learning the subject more difficult than it needs to be. While some terms and topics are unavoidable, they should not be unreachable. The people living in those times are just as human as you and me and the authors spoke and wrote their own language just the same. This isn’t to say it’s easy, but there are ways to make learning history and language simpler.
