About Alex
Hello!
My name is Alex - I work in front office FX sales and trading for a large bank, based in Canary Wharf. I achieved exceptionally high GCSE (all A*'s bar one A...) and A-Levels (A's and A*'s) but decided that on-the-job education for banking and finance was a better route than university.
Fast forward six years and I now know exactly the skills and relevant parts of Mathematics and Economics which are vital to learn in order to succeed in finance. Be it looking at statistics and probabilities through to globalization and protectionism, I teach exactly what is needed in order to be prepared above and beyond the textbook and exam.
I can tutor towards professional qualifications (CISI, IAD, IMC) or GCSE/A Level studies. I am new to tutoring but with my strong academic performance and real life education, I feel I will be definite benefit to my students.
My teaching style encompasses patience at all levels, however I have got to where I am today through hard work and determination, and so aim to instill this work ethic on my students - to be the best and smartest people in the room.
