About Tamryn
I am a university student studying at the University of Johannesburg. I have been tutoring university students for the past year (both first and second years). I work well with children as well. I have done extra work in schools, assisting teachers with lessons and assisting children who need extra attention as well.

I base my approach on many theories. One specific theory I base my teaching on is the multiple intelligences theory. Every child is different and unique. I aim to focus on what interests the child and use it to make the content more comprehensible to the learner. My pedagogy focuses on what the learner can do as well. Discovery learning and inquiry-based learning are other approaches I look into. Basically, my approach is learner-based—aimed to be fun and interesting yet informative and educating.
