About Dearbhla
I have a strong interest in languages (I speak English and Spanish and I am currently learning Japanese and Portuguese) and I hope to pursue a career in fiction translation. I received help from a tutor in other subjects myself and it made a huge difference, and I would love to give back as a tutor now myself! I know that everyone has different ways of learning and so I will make sure that each lesson is tailored to your needs in a supportive environment. I love using quizzes and flashcards and different methods which you can easily incorporate into your daily routine to improve your English in a focused, yet fun way. I am happy to work with people who have previously studied English, people who speak English but are not confident with grammar/reading/pronunciation and people who are just starting out! I really enjoy teaching and sharing my passion with other people, so please reach out to me with any questions or concerns!
