About Abyssa

I’ve played in multiple clubs and at festivals, sometimes in front of audiences of over 300 people. My experience on stage and behind the decks allows me to share practical, real-world knowledge with my students, helping them build confidence and develop their own style. I have over 7 years of passion for techno music and 3 years of experience performing as a DJ.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a professional DJ. I used to play in Paris in many clubs and recently relocated to Montreal. I mainly focused on techno, but I can teach all music styles. I focus on essential theory applied directly to practice. Lessons can be done at your place or in a studio. I can also do online lessons if necessary (but way better in person). What I can teach you:
• Learning the basics of DJing
• Choosing the right equipment
• Mastering basic mixing techniques
• Selecting and ordering tracks effectively
• Preparing and structuring your DJ sets
• Playing in clubs and building your network
I adapt my teaching to your music taste, goals, and skill level, helping you become confident, independent, and creative as a DJ. Lessons are available in French and English. Don’t hesitate to reach out, I’ll be happy to help and answer your questions!

Salut ! DJ professionnelle, j’ai joué dans de nombreux clubs à Paris et je me suis récemment installée à Montréal. Mon style de prédilection est la techno, mais je peux enseigner tous les styles de musique. Je mets l’accent sur la théorie essentielle appliquée à des exercices pratiques. Les cours peuvent se faire chez vous, en studio, ou en ligne si nécessaire (mais c’est toujours mieux en personne). Ce que je peux vous apprendre :
• Apprendre les bases du DJing
• Choisir le bon matériel
• Maîtriser les techniques de mixage de base
• Sélectionner et ordonner efficacement vos morceaux
• Préparer et structurer vos sets
• Jouer en clubs et développer votre réseau
