Belgian native Dutch speaker offering Dutch classes in Liverpool city centre - central library or place of your choice

With the view of moving to the Netherlands in the next year or so, I began Dutch lessons with Lieven in January 2019 and have noticed a significant improvement since.
With a Dutch mother, I already had a basic understanding of the language, and I wanted to use my spare time at university to develop this further. Whilst I was initially focused on speaking and listening, I have come out with a much broader knowledge base in reading and writing, as well as, speaking and listening.
The lessons were both useful and interesting in the fact that they were tailored to my interests i.e. certain topics and music/TV shows, but always maintained a link to the core principles/grammar of the Dutch language. Lieven was also very punctual and kept up communication with any questions I had throughout the week.
Although I have had to stop with lessons, as I have finished my degree and am moving back home, the lessons have put me in a good position to continue learning and practising.
If you are looking to pick up the Dutch language or improve on what you already know, Lieven is a very good tutor to help you do this.

Lieven is a very patient and understanding tutor. He is reliable and organised keeping the lessons fun by learning through music/ songs and also providing practical exercises. As well as being a great tutor he is a really nice person and genuinely cared about my progress, I couldn't recommend him enough.
