I like to explain concepts in the way I would explain it to a friend or a sibling. Overcomplicated language can be overwhelming for a lot of students, so I typically use simple language to introduce the concept and make the more complicated terms more accessible. Pictures or diagrams, if available, are also very helpful. I also offer general test-taking and study tips, since I have found different effective approaches to studying and test-taking over the years.
I am a sophomore Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at UC Berkeley. During my senior year of high school, I tutored in AP Biology and math in Orange County. I have taken math up to Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra and Differential Equations and taken chemistry, biology, and physics at the AP level or above. I am strongest at chemistry, biology, and math, but I also have knowledge in calculus-based physics, French, English reading and writing, music (violin, guitar, and music theory), and American history.
For higher-level subjects I will offer a slightly higher price.
