About Juan
I am a student of History and Politics at the Carlos III University of Madrid, a bilingual degree from which I am taking my third year. I am passionate about Social Sciences in general and I love learning new things as well as making others discover them too. For this reason, I consider myself capable of teaching, as I believe that I have interest and the abilities that are presupposed by a good teacher. I was classified to the Philosophical Olympiad in Madrid in the category of philosophical dilemma and I am a student with a good record. Even so, in my opinion, the most relevant thing as a teacher is to also be willing to learn and discover new things in class and it is with that mentality that I will start.

My classes are oriented in the first place locating the level in which the student is and accompanying him to achieve at the same time interest in the subject and obtain security and understanding of the subject. The syllabus, as well as the classes in general, are prepared and developed based on objectives to be passed, such as an upcoming exam, a course or the EVAU. In my classes of History and Social Sciences in general I try to prioritize the understanding of the phenomena and a general understanding before a deep memorization. I have always considered that understanding something is the first step before learning it and retaining it. I consider myself a person with the ability to explain and understand my student's difficulties, as well as to improvise and adapt to them.
