About Lesadu

Hello! My name is Lesadu, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their studies and build confidence in their abilities. Currently, I am a first-year Engineering student at Monash University, where I focus on Math and Chemistry. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with top scores in Math AA HL and Chemistry SL, equipping me with a strong foundation in these subjects. During high school, I had the opportunity to teach juniors in Math, Chemistry, and various languages, including Japanese and English. This experience not only enhanced my teaching skills but also fueled my enthusiasm for tutoring. Having been born and raised in Japan, I am fluent in Japanese and am eager to share my language skills and cultural insights with my students. I am committed to providing clear explanations and creating a supportive, interactive learning environment. My approach involves active problem-solving and extensive practice to ensure that students are well-prepared for their exams and confident in their knowledge. Whether you are a primary or secondary school student looking to strengthen your Math and Chemistry skills, or someone interested in learning Japanese, I am here to guide you on your educational journey with dedication and expertise.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology: I keep things clear and straightforward, making sure my students feel comfortable and engaged. I’m all about active learning, where we work together on problem-solving to really get to grips with the material. For Math and Chemistry, I focus on lots of practice, going through different types of questions to build up confidence and get you ready for exams. When it comes to Japanese, my approach is more relaxed and fun, perfect for anyone who’s curious about learning the language. Since I was born and raised in Japan, I’m fluent in Japanese and love bringing in cultural aspects to make the lessons more interesting. Whether you’re a total beginner or just want to learn something new, I use videos, articles, and conversations to help you pick up the language. Typical Lesson Length: Lessons usually run for 60 to 90 minutes. This gives us enough time to cover new material, do some practice, and go over anything you’re finding tricky. But, of course, I’m flexible depending on what you need. Qualifications and Experience: I’m currently studying Engineering at Monash University and completed the IB with a 6 in both Math AA HL and Chemistry SL. I’ve tutored high school students in various subjects, including Japanese, Chemistry, and Math. Back in high school, I used to teach juniors, helping them with subjects like Math and Chemistry, as well as languages. I’ve continued tutoring since then, and being trilingual and fluent in Japanese helps me connect with students from different backgrounds. Target Audience: I mostly tutor Math and Chemistry for primary and secondary school students, helping them build strong foundations and do well in their studies. I also teach IB students in these subjects, giving them the support they need for exams. For Japanese, I offer lessons to anyone interested in learning the language, no matter their level, just to enjoy and explore the language and culture.
