About Estelle

I am a Mcgill student. I have been giving private classes on zoom since 2019. I am fluent in English and Mandarin. Mandarin is my native language. I am able to teach any level of mandarin courses. Content taught can be coordinated with students.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are: 1) Giving out a handout to learn the concepts 2) then practice orally & practice listening 3) practice to write
Learning a language is a long run, you should establish vocabulary sources, learn to pronounce, learn to comprehend, and write. I will be giving out vocab lists to memorize and use every week.

Estelle is very knowledgeable of the material she teaches, and is thorough with her explanations. She is very patient and made sure I have a clear understanding of each topic in the curriculum, and she cares a lot about my success, much more than the teachers at my school. I learned a great deal from her and wish that I can have her again for some of my other classes.
