About Rowena
I was a primary school teacher from 2007 and left full time teaching at the end of 2020 school year. I spent most of my teaching career working with Years 5 and 6. I have great passion in travelling and appreciating different cultures and eating different cuisines. English is not my first language and my travels helped me to earn great understanding on how to overcome barriers of learning.

My lessons are centred on my students’ needs and preferences. We learn together to achieve your needs and goals and we’ll aim to have fun during the process.
We always start with assessments so that we know what you can already do and what you’re really good at. This will enable us to design our lessons together to speed up your progress and making sure that our lessons are challenging enough to engage you all the time. At the end of our lessons, we will end knowing that we both achieved our goals and feeling great!
