About Binay
Pandit Binay Pathak is a premier exponent of Indian Classical Music and son of renowned sitar maestro Late Pandit Balram Pathak. Rooted in the centuries-old Pathak Gharana, he is a distinguished Hindustani vocalist and masterful harmonium player. Only half an hour class. Happy to teach.

About the lesson

Each session focuses on both theory and practice; the study of two ragas and two vocal Bandish or two instrumental gat.
4 classes in a month, online or in person.
Students must develop and memorize all lessons given.
Memorization is an integral element of Hindustani
Classical music.
Students should practice regularly what they learn in the
academy and produce their practice/ riyaz in their next class.
The teacher will determine the level of each student and teach
them accordingly as they are capable.

For new students, I generally start with a 30-minute class. If a student is advanced and has been learning with me for more than two years, I may recommend moving to a one-hour class.
