About Thomas

My father played Rolf in the movie "The Sound of Music" so I grew up in Broadway music and performing. My mother is from Austria so classical music is in my DNA. I've also been a professional dancer excelling in Tap and Jazz. I also am a professional drummer. There's so much great music out there! I'm known mostly for my Wagnerian roles but also was the Tenor Artist-In-Residence for Opera San Jose for 4 years and I've now sung over 50 opera roles. I also have extensive experience in Lieder/Art Songs. Let me share knowledge with you so you can get the results you deserve, contact me now.

Welcome to the vocal gym where my approach to training will get your voice bigger, rounder, fuller, and more beautiful using my vocal exercises, proper breathing support, placement, a lowered larynx, and techniques that guarantee amazing results. It thrills me as a teacher to see my students improving so quickly, which in turn motivates them to put in the time and work that it takes to reach their individual goals, whether just for fun or for the professional stage. Because of my extensive personal professional stage experience, I have a unique perspective to help those who choose to work with me. Lessons are for all levels and abilities, for those who've never had a lesson before to those who have a big show or audition coming up, please contact me and let's get to work. I got my degrees locally here at Sacramento State in Theatre Arts and Music and also starred for Sacramento Opera, Sacramento Symphony, Sacramento Music Circus, and Davis Symphony, so my local roots here are deep. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
