About Edith

I worked my way from the bottom up. No private lessons until college. In the top of class throughout grade school. I arrange/compose my own music as well as play classical. I’ve taught beginning students in grade school, would love to expand!

About the lesson

I am acquiring my bachelors degree in the arts of music (Fall ‘19). I teach anyone the basics and then some for whoever wants to learn the violin. I’m patient and fast paced in teaching so my student can know proper technique and musical skills

Edith is a great teacher, she is especially great at teaching students at the level they need to be taught. When I first started with Edith I had issues with my bow hold, posture, intonation and reading hard rhythmic passages. However through our lessons I was able to fix certain issues, and adapt habits that made reading and playing hard passages easier. Her flexibility, attentiveness and reassurance is what makes her such a great teacher and is what pushed me to keep learning . So I definitely recommend Edith if you are looking for a flexible but challenging teacher.

I’ve known Edith for many years now throughout college and what I can say without a doubt is that she works well with others. Edith is very patient, understanding, and a great listener. I couldn’t pick a more suitable job to match her personality and talents.
