About Scarlet
"Teaching feels like a natural extension of the 13 years spent gigging in blues and rock bands. You might find it strange that I push reading sheet music before playing a single lick of lead guitar. Understanding the foundation makes the music last.
My 7 years of teaching experience covers electric technique and music theory for students from age 8 and up. I help intermediate players escape pentatonic jail by integrating scales, modes, and ear training. Songwriting and chord transitions are central to how I play and teach."

This approach builds a real command of the fretboard over our 7 years of collective experience. Monthly recorded reviews of progress serve as our primary tool for tracking growth. These files give you a clear map to revisit your path. We will focus on steady movement toward the sound you want to create."
