About Troy
I’m an English tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Master of Arts in TESOL. I specialize in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE preparation, helping students reach their target scores with confidence. My lessons focus on test strategies, time management, and mastering writing task structures. Speaking confidence is also a key part of my teaching. I work closely with students to build their fluency and reduce anxiety during speaking tests. Using mock exams and detailed feedback loops, I help learners understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Each session is goal-based, tailored to what you need most for success. My teaching approach is warm, practical, and focused on building real-life English skills. I use pronunciation drills to help students speak clearly and be easily understood. Presentation practice is a big part of my lessons, giving learners confidence when speaking in front of others.
