About SAMIIRA

I am a British native English teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience across the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. I have been teaching in the Middle East since 2016, working across both public and private sectors. I enjoy traveling and sharing the English language as a native speaker, and it has always been my passion to teach globally. I have taught learners from Grade 5 through to higher education and have held leadership roles as Head of English and curriculum lead. I am passionate about inclusive education, supporting SEND learners, and helping students build confidence and strong literacy skills. I hold a Master of Education (M.Ed.).

About the lesson

My lessons are fun, engaging, and highly structured, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to learn and express themselves. I take time to get to know each student and their individual learning style, while helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Lessons are typically up to 45 minutes (or longer if required) Lessons are based on the British curriculum, focusing on core English skills including grammar, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and academic writing.
I provide personalized feedback, clear learning goals, and strategies to build confidence and independence. I am particularly experienced in supporting SEND learners through inclusive, differentiated teaching.

Ms. Samira is one of the outstanding and professional English tutors that you would ever meet. Her expertise in teaching English is commendable, as my son was one of her students. Her teaching style and professional demeanour enabled my son to excel in his English classes, as he was equipped with indispensable skills that helped him master multiple areas of English. She was even my son's positive role model as she contributed to transforming my son from a shy learner into a confident and eloquent one. I cannot thank her enough for her unwavering efforts that helped my son thrive and become an outstanding student in English.
