About Hana

I am a Brown University undergraduate student concentrating in Health and Human Biology with a minor equivalent in English Literature. I have been tutoring for over 4 years for children ages 12-18, often on the subject of English Literature or English as a Second Language.

About the lesson

Tutoring is something I am very passionate about, and my passion and patience is very prevalent through my teaching. I often include immersive experiences and in-depth demonstrations in my lessons in order to encourage an excitement for the subjects I teach as well as immerse the student(s) in the subject being taught. My lesson plans often begin with a review of the material covered the previous lesson, then proceeds to the lesson at hand, and ends with practice questions. I can tutor High School Biology, High School Chemistry, basic College Chemistry, English Literature, pre-Algebra and Creative Writing. I am especially adept at tutoring English Literature and Creative Writing and would love the opportunity to encourage interest and passion in these subjects.
