I've spearheaded projects in classification, regression, cutting-edge recommender systems, and the thrilling realm of generative AI. What truly sets me apart as a teacher is this rich tapestry of experiences. My academic journey, starting with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Loughborough University, laid the groundwork for my career. There, I immersed myself in various programming languages, harmonising the practical with the theoretical. My passion for AI led me to pursue a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh, where I explored the depths of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Game Theory, NLP, and Probabilistic Modelling. My student-centred approach focuses on collaborative, hands-on learning tailored to each learner's needs and preferred methods. In our lessons, we sit side-by-side while working through coding challenges together. I encourage questions and dialogue to deeply understand where comprehension gaps exist. Moving forward at the student's pace, we brainstorm solutions using diagrams, analogies and plenty of real-world examples that make technical concepts friendly and fun. Rather than a rigid, one-size-fits-all formula, I flexibly adjust my interactive teaching style based on the individual. If a topic remains unclear, we will persist exploring new angles until the "aha!" moment lands. By continually co-designing our path based on your feedback, jointly architecting the logic through hands-on building, debugging and testing application code, you will gain enduring capabilities to apply Python confidently in work and life. Most importantly, we get there through patience and partnership. My goal is not just to teach Python, but to equip each learner to continue growing their skills independently to meet their evolving goals.
