About Ondwela

I am a South African TEFL Teacher, I got my 420-hour TEFL certificate this year and I also have a Bachelor of Science degree. I come from a country which has a diversity of culture and language, growing up here has been nothing short of a privilege for me because it made me interested in connecting people through language. I’ve always wanted to make some sort of difference in this world, no matter how small. I believe teaching English and helping connect people through language is a step towards making a difference.

About the lesson

My lessons are student centered. Students are encouraged to feel free and speak as much as possible no matter what their level of English is. I use props where necessary and I make sure my lessons are friendly, calm and as welcoming as possible. I will make sure learning is fun and students are engaged in every activity. Whatever the student needs, I will provide.
